We were awarded an Active School Flag in June 2009 and were delighted to be one of the first ten schools in Ireland to receive this award.
Many school activities lead to us earning this award including our extensive and varied P.E. lessons, participation in Gaelic, soccer, tag rugby, flag football, swimming, dance, basketball and cross country running. Also our active and healthy nature during lunch time where we have a wide variety of games and facilities to choose from and our policy to promote Healthy Eating all contributed to us gaining this prestigious award. |
